As a writer, there is nothing I love more than cozying up to my laptop with a hot cup of tea and a blank word document.
But as all writers know, facing a blank page can be very intimidating at times. So, to help keep me in the zone, I love to drink my tea out of empowering, motivational mugs.
This way, if I’m ever stuck, all I have to do is look over to my warm cozy mug to keep me inspired and caffeinated—especially when I’m burning the midnight oil because a draft of my play is due.

This is one of my favorite mugs to drink out of when having a really hard day with my writing. It is just the mantra I need to help put my self-doubt in check. I, initially bought one for my best friend. But I loved it so much that I went back and bought one for myself.

This is hands down my favorite every day mug. Not only is it microwave safe, but I love that it reminds me to be my most fabulous self everyday. I have to say it was definitely a journey to get this one.
After Cotton On sold out online, I tracked down the nearest store (which was also sold out.) But the store attendant could feel my burning passion to have this mug. So, he kindly took down my information to call me if they ever had it back in stock.
I gave it to him thinking that I would never hear from him. But true to his word, when they got the mug back in stock, I was the first person he called and I practically flew down to the store. This mug was truly love at first sight when I saw it at Ross. If you couldn’t tell by now my favorite color is gold and I’m a sucker for empowering quotes on a mug. I just loved everything about this mug—the look, the colors, the vibe. I can’t walk in stilettos to save my life, but I can at least attempt to enter a room with stiletto-like confidence.
This is my favorite mug to drink out of when I’m on a zoom meeting or preparing to teach. This also tends to be another go-to mug for my boyfriend if Fabulous Bitch is dirty (lol).
This would make an amazing gift for people in your life that have a deep love for shoes and being a boss on the daily.

It takes a lot of energy trying to rule the world. One might even say it’s exhausting (especially as a woman). So, whenever I need a pick me up from all the world-slaying I do, I love to turn to this simple, elegant inspirational mug.

I’m telling y’all don’t sleep on Marshalls/TJ Maxx/ Home Goods. I’ve gotten some of my favorite mugs there for what feels like thrift store prices.

As someone who is soon nearing their 30s, everyone loves to ask when I’m thinking about getting married. And sure, marriage is nice. But to me, there’s plenty of time in my life to get married.
But there is only so much time for me to achieve my life goals. So, when I saw this mug at Ross, it felt like someone made this especially for me. All I’m focused on for the next few years is building my empire, okkuuur?!
This is the perfect mug to turn to when I’m in beast mode and ready to slay. I even love how it says “Don’t stop, get it get it” at the rim.
